Job DescriptionThe position is responsible for overseeing implementation and completion of all construction works related to land development activities in accordance with the approved plans including project specifications and target timetables.
ResponsibilitiesLand Development Works Oversee and manage site activities and personnel during land development to ensure quality and timely delivery.Evaluate, assess, and implement the approved construction plan and schedule of project handled.Monitor actual contractor manpower, delivery of materials and proper usage of heavy equipment/other tools used in land development.Provide oversight function on construction of special projects within the site.Assess and evaluate proposals from contractors against plans, design, and actual conditions prior to submitting proposals to cost engineers.Review and approve the progress billing requests based on the accomplishment of the contractor.Provide a weekly informative accomplishment report of all on site activities.Prepare a realistic catch-up schedule for delayed activities.Provide all necessary permits with regard to construction.Surveying Works Field Works – Verification of actual layout of coordinates & elevation for Land Development Works and alignment & elevation for horizontal & vertical structures.Office Works – Extraction, gathering, analyzing and output of data.Instrument Care & Adjustment – Maintenance like calibration & inventory of all surveying instruments.Team Orientation/Leadership Assisting the Foreman/Leadman on the implementation of drawing plans. Help in innovation and improvement of the process.Instructing the subordinates regarding the construction procedures.Guidance and monitoring of subordinate's activities.Manpower and Man-hour monitoring.Provide support with sub-contractors under Land Development supervision.Safety Implementation of safety and wellness inside the project in accordance with the instruction given by the Safety Officer.Assist the safety officer regarding the wellness and safety inside the project constructions.Monitoring of daily accomplishment and problem encountered report.Preparing and submitting Inspection-Testing Request, Request for Approval or Submittal, Request for Information, Concrete Pouring Request & Punch list.Preparing Site Instruction & Change Order.Preparing Certificate of Completion & Certificate of Final Acceptance.Receive, evaluate and submit billing of the subcontractors.RequirementsEducational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Geodetic/Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.Experience Level: 1-3 years of relevant experience in surveying, engineering or construction.Skills and Competencies: Proficient in surveying techniques, AutoCAD, and interpreting construction plans. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).License: Geodetic/Civil Engineer.Responsibilities and Duties: Conduct site surveys, prepare reports, and collaborate with project teams.Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, organized and has an ability to multitask, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.Human Resources Associate Community Developers and Construction Corporation
