Project Engineer

Functions and Basic Duties: Assist the project manager in the implementation of the projectOverall in charge of field worksPrepare construction schedules for implementation in coordination with the project managerPrepare construction methodology for the approval of the project managerResponsible for the quality and quantity of work accomplishedResponsible for safety, security, and pollution of the siteAnticipate all materials, equipment, and manpower required for smooth operation of the projectResponsible for the deployment of the resources such as materials, equipment, and manpower in each activity in an economical and profitable wayReview plans and specifications and other documents for implementation in the projectEnsure that scheduled activities for the day are accomplishedAssist the billing engineer in preparation for the billingPrepare shop drawings in coordination with the project supervisor for implementation at siteAnticipate and assess risks and problems for early resolution with the project managerAssist the surveyor with layout, location elevation, and other requirements that involve survey workQualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering / PRC License as Civil Engineer
Experience: Must have at least 3 years of experience in civil engineering works and project management
Willing to be assigned in the Port of Zamboanga City
Required Knowledge: Computer literate and engineering knowledge of MS Office
Skills/Abilities: Good confidentiality of office work, communication with co-workers, and a positive working attitude.
