Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD and a strong background in project estimation. You will be responsible for overseeing project development from initial planning through execution, ensuring all engineering and design specifications are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Planning: Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.Design and Drafting: Utilize AutoCAD to create, modify, and review detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Ensure compliance with industry standards.Estimating: Prepare accurate project estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment costs. Collaborate with stakeholders to refine project budgets.Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution.Quality Assurance: Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design files, estimation reports, and project correspondence.Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during project development and implementation.RequirementsEducational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.Experience Level: Open to candidates with more than 1 year of experience.Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in QA/QC protocols, cost estimation, AutoCAD, civil engineering principles. Strong presentation, planning, and forecasting abilities are essential.Working Conditions: Job may require on-site presence at various construction sites with potential exposure to outdoor elements and construction hazards.Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are critical.
