Position : Project Development Officer
Location : Philippines
Pacific Impact Development is responsible for project origination, pre-financial close project development, EPC management, and financial structuring activities in the Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
Pacific Impact Development undertakes early-stage, high-risk infrastructure development activities.
A brief summary of the job description: Execute project development activities for assigned projects, from origination to ready-to-build status:
Prepare and submit applications and other compliance requirements to regulatory agencies and ensure that all submissions comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct site inspections with government field officers for issuance of permits or with consultants for preparation of site studies. Monitor and follow up the status of permits and other requirements for faster issuance or approval. Coordinate and assist in the discussions with landowners, government officers, consultants and other stakeholders to maintain good relations. Assist in preparation of budget requests for assigned projects, monitor actual spent-to-dates and ensure that activities are aligned with project schedule and budget. Assist in preparation of reports requested by the management. Maintain current knowledge of proposed industry rules, laws, regulations, policies and standards pertinent to the assigned projects. At least 2 years of experience in energy industry doing permit acquisition duties, or at least 3 years of experience in other industries doing permitting, environmental management or project management. Experience in land acquisition and land conversion are preferred but not required Organized, hardworking, resourceful and with good communication skills.
