J.C. Piñon Construction Inc is looking for:
PROJECT ADMIN ENGINEER
Summary of Functions:
Project Admin Engineer is responsible for the documentation, cost control and monitoring in the assigned
project site. The Project Admin Engineer acts as the finance, procurement, human resources, and safety
officer on-site.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Proper recording of site expenses (includes material, labor and equipment expenses)
2. Monitor and report project expenditures vis-a-vis the approved construction budget
3. Preparation of project Accounts Payable (e.g. RFP, etc.)
4. Serve as the custodian for the Petty Cash Fund. Replenish the Petty Cash Fund in a timely
manner.
5. Assist the head office Procurement Department in sourcing/canvassing local material,
equipment suppliers, and other services necessary for the project
6. Preparation and approval of Certificate of Payment to suppliers and subcontractors
7. Issuance of Purchase Orders for small item purchases
8. Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
9. Screening and hiring of local workers including scheduling for trade test, as applicable.
10. Securing pre-employment requirements prior to start date and submission to the Head Office
HRD within the agreed timeline
11. Submission of checked and validated DTR of site workers
12. Assists the head office HR Department functions to their assigned sites
13. Document and check the daily accomplishment report versus the scheduled activity for the day.
14. Document and analyze all the manpower and equipment utilization against the construction plan
and other available reports.
15. Weekly submission of reports on the financial and physical inventory of materials based on the
usage for the week.
16. Serve as the Document custodian for the project. Maintain and organize up-to-date project
records
17. Ensures that all toolbox minutes of the meeting are properly documented Manage
agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
18. Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
19. Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
20. Implements DOLE approved construction safety standards and company safety policies on
project site.
Qualifications:
1. BS Degree in Engineering or related field.
2. At least has a 3 years' work experienced in the related field is required for the position.
-Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
3. The candidate must possess the following qualities:
-Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
-Excellent organizational and leadership skills
4. Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
5. Familiarity on Office Management
6. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.)
7. Must be willing to travel and assigned to project sites.
8. Experienced in site assignment is an advantage.
