Project Accountant

WHR Global Consulting, a global talent solution provider is looking for a stellar candidate to fill the role of Project Accountant for its client based in Makati City.

This is for direct hiring and for a role. A WORK ONSITE set-up.


Job Requirements:

- Has a Bachelors' degree in Accounting or any related field
- Has at least two 1-2 years working experience in a Global Business Services for Accounting or Finance in a shared services setting
- Has knowledge and experience in Project accounting
- Has an experience in data entry and management
- Knowledge and professional exposure within relevant IT software and computerized accounting systems is a must
- Familiar with ERP and with basic knowledge of tools of trade use to perform the job
- Developed organizational skills and has ability to handle confidential information
- Has good oral and written English communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate well with counterpart
- Ability to work independently, in a team, and able to adapt in changing situation.


Duties:

- Establish and modify projects in IFS, update budgets (BID, PO, VORs, VOs), and provide weekly cost reports.
- Ensure personnel access, track unapproved/missing timesheets, and correct/manipulate manhours as needed.
- Handle project transactions, including forward supplier invoice transfers and MODU procurement PO updates.
- Prepare and update various reports (Potential Loss, MODU Portfolio, monthly portfolio, invoicing details) and manage month-end business controlling tasks.
- Perform closing tasks, issue payment certificates, participate in meetings, and respond to ad-hoc requests from project managers.
