Project Accountant

Job Requirements: Has a Bachelors' degree in Accounting or any related fieldHas at least two 1-2 years working experience in a Global Business Services for Accounting or Finance in a shared services settingHas knowledge and experience in Project accountingHas an experience in data entry and managementKnowledge and professional exposure within relevant IT software and computerized accounting systems is a mustFamiliar with ERP and with basic knowledge of tools of trade use to perform the jobDeveloped organizational skills and has ability to handle confidential informationHas good oral and written English communication skills.Ability to collaborate and communicate well with counterpartAbility to work independently, in a team, and able to adapt in changing situation. Duties: Establish and modify projects in IFS, update budgets (BID, PO, VORs, VOs), and provide weekly cost reports.Ensure personnel access, track unapproved/missing timesheets, and correct/manipulate manhours as needed.Handle project transactions, including forward supplier invoice transfers and MODU procurement PO updates.Prepare and update various reports (Potential Loss, MODU Portfolio, monthly portfolio, invoicing details) and manage month-end business controlling tasks.Perform closing tasks, issue payment certificates, participate in meetings, and respond to ad-hoc requests from project managers.
