**INTRODUCTION**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks of assigned programs and support for Regional Program Manager in the Philippines to ensure all programmatic requirements are being met/exceeded according to the ABA, ROLI, and grantor requirements
- Works with partners supports accountabilities for all timely, accurate, and compliant in-country programmatic monitoring and evaluation
- Assists in developing project work plans, coordinating volunteer legal specialists and consultants, and assists in convening, organizing, and participating in training opportunities
- Contributes to effective collaboration and relationships to fulfill program objectives within cost constraints and garner additional funding from partners
- Assists Philippines regional program team in collaboration with ABA ROLI headquarters and Philippine authorities to ensure that all programs and operations are compliant with local laws and regulations and, if required, have received all regulatory licensing/registrations prior to offering the program
- Assists regional program team to ensure compliance with all donors, ABA, US, and Philippine laws and regulations while supporting the program(s); ensures personal and program compliance with applicable anti-corruption laws
- Provide support to other ABA ROLI Programs implemented in the Philippines, as necessary and as time allows
- Performs other related duties as required.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- University degree in law, environmental studies, sustainability studies, global affairs, international relations, or another relevant field.
- 1-2 years (s) of professional working experience in the legal profession (_paralegal services, may be included_)
- Ability to travel within the Philippines and internationally.
- Legal ability to work in the Philippines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Tagalog.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- At least 1-2 years (s) of relevant professional experience related to human rights in the Philippines, ideally related to climate change and sustainability, including prior experience supporting donor-funded programming.
- Bar Exam passers have an advantage; Newly passed lawyers may apply.
- Experience supporting the implementation of regional or multi-country initiatives.
- Experience supporting the implementation of programs funded by the United States government.
- Familiarity with rural and Indigenous communities in the Philippines and the impact of climate change on these communities.
- Experience working with the government and other key stakeholders is an advantage.
- Experience working with colleagues remotely.
