Brief Summary of the Role:
The Production Team Leader is accountable to ensure that the Line KPIs on QSEPCS (Quality, Safety, Environment, Productivity, Cost and Service), Maintenance, Volume, Audits are all met.
Key Responsibilities: Business Planning Conducts strategic planning for line improvement Performs benchmarking and replication activities to identify improvement
opportunities for overall line performance Conducts budget preparation and review based on strategic plans for the line 2. Planning and Scheduling
Performs weekly and daily production schedule planning Conducts pre- and post- maintenance planning together with Maintenance
Team. 3. Line Performance Management
Conducts verification of overall line safety status Reviews the line quality performance by checking Quality Assurance analyses results Leads the Daily Line Production Meeting for the team to discuss previous
performance and provide daily direction setting 4. People Management
Provides regular coaching and mentoring to assigned associates to ensure that expectations from the role are constantly met. Conducts regular performance reviews to manage team performance and to set a clear career plan of his/her direct reports. Identifies training gaps of each member of the team and facilitates the execution of the training plans to ensure that a career development plan for each associate is provided. Develop and implement effective feedback and recognition system for his direct reports. Position Requirements: • Preferably a graduate of any of the following Engineering course: (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering)
• Preferably with minimum of 2 years' experience in Manufacturing specifically Production, Process Area, Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment and Water Processes.
• High proficiency in digital and system tools (i.e. SAP) and Microsoft Applications
• Displays good leadership and collaboration skills
• Highly analytical
• Proficient in both oral and written communication
