Production Supervisor

Job summary
The Product Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Production Manager in daily production activities and meeting production targets.The role involves coordinating the activities of a work group of technicians and operators in the optical blanking section.The Supervisor is expected to ensure compliance with work instructions, product quality, and safety measures.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate the activities of technicians and operators in the optical blanking section• Assess and support production of operators on blanks• Support all optical blanking processes such as nesting, mounting, drilling, polishing, and packaging• Ensure quality assurance through inspections and packaging of end products• Lead productivity improvement projects in the optical blanking section• Report on material usage and balance, and prepare requisition slips• Lead investigations of near-hits and incidents and ensure safety measures are followed• Maintain adherence to company values and fair employment practices
Requirements
• Graduate of any Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience• At least 1 year direct experience in Optics Grinding Process or 2 years related experience in Optical Production Process• Strong computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, and statistical analysis• Effective communication skills in English• Familiarity with ISO audits and production cost targets• Knowledge of HIRAC, EAIA, and JHA safety procedures
