Production Supervisor

**JOB SUMMARY**:
1.
Plans, directs, control and lead production operations and ensures that quality and safe food products are produced at the most economical cost.
2.
Analyzes and evaluates production schedule, manufacturing order, production manning and maintenance schedules to maximize plant utilization,

3.
Supervises and controls the available resources to achieve company objectives, targets and programs in response to volume requirements at the most economical cost.
4.
Reports on the performance of the production plant against quality objectives to management, identifies and analyzes weaknesses, and makes recommendation for improvement thereon.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
A.
Planning and Directing the Production Operations

1.
Analyzes the weekly Manufacturing Order given by PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control Department) and provides daily production planning based on plant, manpower and machines efficiencies.
2. Review and verifies raw materials availability and sufficiency in consideration to the daily production plan.
3.
Supervises all Production Inventory Staff in charge of raw materials inventory and withdrawal for the daily requirements.
4.
Supervises inventory management and forecast planning according to set standards.
5.
Leads the people towards volume achievement, increase in productivity, yields improvement and reduction in losses.
6.
Provides techniques, strategies and align requirements to hasten operational and structural reduction in losses.
7.
Manages and controls manpower requirements, attitude and behavior, deliverables, productivity, performance, assessment and projects.
8.
Cooperates with SME's of SAP system to align timelines and required procedures to successfully manage the system software for Production Department.
B.
Management and Control of Resources

1.
Assesses Manufacturing Order and translates to Production Schedule.
2.
Monitors and evaluates volume achievement per Production Schedule.
3.
Coordinates with PPIC, Sales Planner, Logistics - Inbound and Production Team Leader on the availability of all materials.
C. People Handling

1.
Provides production members schedule for the week and during downtime scenarios.
2.
Monitors manpower violations on attendance, breaktime, tardiness and operations and gives due sanctions.
3.
Coordinates with FBC Human Resources and/or third party representative on the performance of Machine Operators/ Production Crew and gives recommendations when needed.
4.
Handles and monitors team leaders and machine operators' activity, productivity and deliverables.
5.
Instructs Team Leaders on the daily requirements and processes.
6.
Motivates people in providing results.
7.
Evaluates performance of Assistant Section Head and Production Crew.
8.
Sets and implements policies and standards abiding company rules and regulations.
D. Facilities Inspection

1.
Conducts regular inspection of facilities, equipment, implements according to safety and sanitation requirements and train Assistant Section Heads of the similar works in their respective sections.
E. Food Safety, Plant Safety and Quality Managements System

1.
Maintains GMP, Sanitation, Quality and Food Safety standards.
2.
Acts as the HACCP Team Leader of the Plant.
3.
Ensures that plant safety hazards policies and procedures are observed and complied with by all production personnel.
4.
Reviews relevant procedures, work instructions and guidelines needed by the production in compliance with company policies.
5.
Monitors Production processes whenever there are changes in materials, formulation and/or processes.
6.
Prepares and reviews relevant procedures, work instructions and guidelines needed by the production in compliance with company policies.
F. Deviation Analysis and Corrective Action

1.
Applies Potential Problem Analysis (PPA) and Problem Solving and Decision Making (PSDM) Analysis to any process deviation, manpower issues, product quality and safety issues, human safety issues and raw materials concerns.
2.
Identifies and reports mis-operations and deviations on ingredients, products and processes.
3.
Analyzes root cause of production deviation together with production team leaders, concerned operators and to extent needed concerned QA and/or R&D.
4.
Identifies improvement opportunities based on the results of observations and submits recommendation to immediate superior.
G. Documentation and Data Analysis

1.
Provides analysis to production reports specifically the raw materials inventory monitoring.
2.
Conducts analysis on production performance and work measurement.
3.
Reviews production monitoring records.
4.
Analyzes ATP daily Swab and Cost Monitoring and reports to management.
H. Customer Service

1.
Evaluates the validity of consumer complaints and identifies possible causes of the complaint together with QA.
2.
Gives feedback to the consumer on the status of corrective actions taken.
