Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, an executive recruitment firm, is representing a client that specializes in producing and distributing healthy snack products. They are currently seeking a Production Head with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally within the food manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in supervisory or managerial roles, with in-depth knowledge of production management principles, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies. This position is based in Novaliches, Quezon City, with a Monday to Friday work schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Job Summary:
The Production Head will oversee the entire production process within the company, ensuring efficient, timely, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to production schedules.Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality across all production processes.Collaborate with the Plant Manager to develop and implement effective production plans and strategies.Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve workflow and productivity.Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment.Lead and manage a factory workforce of approximately 500 personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Sales departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Lead initiatives to optimize resource utilization, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production targets.Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and improvement within the production department.Key Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment, with the ability to step into a managerial position.5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector.Strong knowledge of production management principles, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in optimizing and digitizing production processes or departments is an advantage.Proven track record in optimizing production schedules, implementing efficiency improvements, and ensuring strict adherence to quality control standards.Must be willing to work in Novaliches, Quezon City.All applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
