Essential Responsibilities:
• Sourcing and solicitation of quotations/proposals within 7 days from the date of RFQ (Request for Quotation) from Sector/Division concerned.
• Creation of Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders (PO) for the Head Office and the Community Development Projects (CDP), when necessary.
• Checking of procurement requests filed in Docswave from CDPs and Head Office including its attachments by reviewing, comparing, analyzing the products and/or services to be purchased.
• Assisting in the bidding process by preparing the Comparative Report with the guidance and supervision of the Procurement Manager.
• Preparation of Fund Requests and Settlement Reports for procurement under bidding and non-bidding process.
• Negotiation of quotations and proposals received from suppliers.
• Other duties and tasks that maybe assigned from time to time by the Procurement Manager.
Qualifications:
? At least 3 to 5 years of procurement / purchasing experience in a fast-paced
environment.
? Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
? Keen to details, resourceful and diligent.
? Experience working for an international non-government organization, a
preference
? Has high level of integrity and ethical behavior in handling sensitive procurement
information.
? Able to work with a team efficiently
? Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written communication)
