Job Summary: The role ensures all production equipment operates at optimized and sustainable rates for maximum efficiency. Provides expertise in reviewing manufacturing processes (thermal, mechanical, and maintenance) and in conceptualizing and commissioning CAPEX projects to identify potential improvements for manufacturing performance excellence.
Responsibilities: Ensures best practice to attain an optimized and sustainable rate and at maximum efficiency of all equipment. Conducts review and assessments of the different manufacturing processes (thermal, mechanical and maintenance), in order to determine process deficiencies and propose action plans for improvement, i.e. achievement of plant KPI's. Reviews project-engineering studies to provide state of the art technology, best practices, long term and cost effective concepts and solutions. Supports the preparation and evaluation of CAPEX justifications, studies, evaluation of supplier quotations and the analysis of return on investment. Conducts lectures, training and orientation to plant process engineers, production engineers and process technicians on process related issues, equipment systems and technologies as needed to transfer know-how. Promotes the implementation of safety programs and ensures conformance to OH&S programs. Assists in the implementation and optimize usage of suitable AFR materials for the process. Manages resources to ensure understanding and compliance with environmental regulations. Qualifications: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferably Mechanical and Chemical Engineering. Must be a Licensed Professional. Preferably a Certified Process Performance Engineer (PPE). Must have at least 10 years in cement operation, with a minimum of 3 years experience in cement process technology, and a minimum of 2 years supervisory function. Must have a minimum of 5 years in project management. Must be willing to work in Central Luzon.
