Our company located at MEPZ 1 started its commercial operations in 2017. It is a company manufacturing and processing micro electro-mechanical components, such as but not limited to micro magnets, micro coils, micro assembly of components.
 
 
Our company serves its global client base from its locations and subsidiaries in Switzerland, Philippines, China, Hong Kong. The company's continuous growth is due to its expansion in the market for custom micro-components used in implantable and wearable medical devices.
 
We are looking for the following position:
 
An experienced PROCESS ENGINEER for our MEPZ, Cebu site.
 
Will be responsible in improving manufacturing techniques, introduce new process/equipment for production, continually make incremental, measurable improvement in the process
Will Coordinate, perform and report on manufacturing tests and
experimentsWoks closely with China and Switzerland team for proper coordination and support for various production projects and other issues.
Drives and supports quality initiatives designed to attain ISO-9001 certification, and other related international certification requirements
Leads/supports in the process design and improvement, productivity analysis, root cause analysis, line set-up and balancing as well as general trouble shooting.
Coordinates activities, launched by Headquarters aimed to validate the production process before mass production, including but not limited to Engineering and Quality tools, confirming new machines validation (test campaign and experiments)
To be considered for this role:
School Education
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate technical discipline, eg., Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
Specialization / Expertise
Specific Training on ISO 9001 standards.
Good working knowledge of manufacturing analytical tools such as 6 Sigma, Kaizen, FMEA, SPC, APQP, etc.
Experience in Manufacturing Organization, preferably the areas of Engineering and Production/Operations
Experience
Minimum 4 years related experience, at least 2 years of which in a manufacturing particularly in Operations, Engineering or Maintenance
Languages
Good communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.
