Key Accountabilities
1- Pricing Strategy Development:
Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies for ocean freight services on the Europe Export Trade Lane.
Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demands to make informed pricing decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
2- Rate Negotiation and Contracts:
Negotiate rates and service agreements with ocean carriers and service providers.
Evaluate and manage long-term contracts to secure favorable terms for the company.
Monitor contract compliance and ensure timely renegotiation as necessary.
3- Market Analysis:
Continuously monitor market conditions, including freight rates, capacity, and regulatory changes affecting the Europe Export Trade Lane.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on market dynamics and their impact on pricing.
4- Pricing Models and Tools:
Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to facilitate accurate and efficient pricing decisions.
Utilize data analytics to assess pricing performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
5- Customer Pricing Solutions:
Work closely with sales and customer service teams to provide tailored pricing solutions for customers.
Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and negotiate pricing agreements that meet their requirements.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and work on cost reduction initiatives when necessary.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in pricing management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with a focus on ocean freight services.
Strong understanding of international trade and logistics, particularly in the Europe Export Trade Lane.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and pricing modeling tools.
Knowledge of industry-specific software and systems is an advantage.
