**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic PR Associate to join our dynamic communications team on a part-time basis. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about public relations and eager to contribute to Globe Telecom's reputation and brand image. As a PR Associate, you will assist in creating and implementing PR initiatives that enhance our visibility in the market.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns to raise brand awareness and engage key stakeholders.
- Conduct media outreach to cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure coverage and promote Globe Telecom's events, products, and initiatives.
- Assist in the creation of press materials including press releases, media kits, and newsletters that effectively communicate our corporate messages and news.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to provide insights that inform PR strategy and tactics.
- Collaborate with various internal departments including marketing, social media, and customer service to ensure cohesive communication and branding.
- Coordinate and participate in the planning and execution of company events, press conferences, and promotional activities.
- Prepare reports on PR metrics, media coverage, and campaign impact, and present findings to the team.
- Act as a point of contact for media inquiries, ensuring timely and complete responses.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in public relations or communications, ideally in a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Basic understanding of PR tools and metrics for measuring campaign effectiveness.
- Demonstrable resilience in handling challenges and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
