The Lead Specialist / Asst. Manager / Manager will lead/support the operation of company's power generation asset and business development of new power projects.
Candidate will strategize plans, interact and negotiate with different power industry stakeholders, and perform other necessary activities in relation to new power project development (i.e. feasibility study, financial model, permitting, etc) and operating asset-management of existing power (i.e. trading, commercial, permitting, etc).
¦KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and support business development team in various pipeline of power projects and implement strategies to achieve objectivesConceptualize, perform and execute plans to achieve goals in developing new power plantsSupervision of the day-to-day operations of company's power generating assets including electricity trading, commercial performance and operation performanceEnsure adherence in WESM Compliance standards, regulatory requirements and updating permitsShort and long-term energy market modelling, electricity price simulation, and forecastingCoordination with DOE (the Department of Energy), ERC (Energy Regulatory Commission), IEMOP, NGCP, PEMC, DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) and other entities, if necessaryProper operational execution of all short-term and long-term Agreements (PPA, ASPA, etc)Create weekly and monthly report for managementPerform any other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the management
