Podcast Editor | Digital Audio Workstation (Daw) Proficiency

Job Description This is a remote position.
Responsibilities: Edit podcast episodes, removing filler words and enhancing audio quality Apply EQ and compression to improve overall sound Integrate intros, outros, and additional audio elements into episodes Manage multiple audio files and combine them coherently Meet deadlines for weekly and bi-weekly podcast releases Communicate effectively with the project manager and team members Adhere to client-specific editing guidelines and best practices Requirements: Proficiency in Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic, Audacity, or Adobe software Basic understanding of audio processing techniques, including EQ and compression Fluency in English (speaking and comprehension) Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable high-speed internet connection for file transfers Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) Scope: Edit approximately five audio files per day Collaborate with the project manager to ensure timely delivery of edited content Participate in training sessions to learn company-specific workflows and best practices Potential for expanded responsibilities based on performance and company needs Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM CST with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
