Responsibilities:
Handles aspects of manufacturing accounting and controlling for Davao Manufacturing Plant operations.
Leads the mid-term planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting processes for Davao Manufacturing Plant operations.
Organizes and executes inter-departmental collaboration processes to ensure a systematic approach in the execution of the planning, budgeting, and forecasting (i.e. linked with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) outcomes) processes.
Creates financial transparency for Davao Manufacturing Plant through financial performance measurement, proactive participation in risk management, and investigation for opportunities to help achieve production cost savings and operational efficiency.
Prepares and coordinates with the Accounting, Reporting and Internal Control team on periodic internal reporting requirements ensuring timeliness, deadline compliance, quality, and relevance of the information provided to various reports to stakeholders.
Performs advisory or consulting role by providing financial analysis (e.g. sensitivity analysis, etc.), opinions, and recommendations for management decisions to improve business performance.
Assesses CAPEX investment plans and ensures the existence of robust CAPEX controlling processes and procedures in their area of responsibility.
Assists in developing business plans / financial plans, and profitability studies in areas of responsibility.
Ensures that standardized controls and business processes are in place and operating as intended to safeguard the company's financial assets within the area of responsibility.
Plays a proactive role in managing the resolution of issues arising from audits and compliance reviews covering the area of responsibility.
Ensures full compliance with rules in area of responsibility; Leads the successful completion of sustainability reviews ensuring maintenance of the company's certification.
Qualifications:
Must be a College graduate with a degree in Finance, major in Accounting or equivalent.
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant.
Must have at least 7 years of work experience in a manufacturing setting in the field of accounting or finance, process cost control, variance analysis, budget development, and management reporting.
Knowledge of SAP and Anaplan is an advantage.
