Key Responsibilities:
• Material Planning: Develop and implement material planning strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure materials are available for production as needed.
• Production Planning and Scheduling: Create and manage production schedules to align with customer demands and production capacity. Adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or production constraints.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to balance supply and demand, reduce excess stock, and prevent shortages. Implement effective inventory control measures and practices.
• Customer Delivery: Coordinate with sales and production teams to forecast demand accurately and ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Address any issues that may impact delivery schedules.
• Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of planning and inventory professionals. Provide direction, training, and support to ensure the team meets performance goals and develops professionally.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning, production, and inventory. Prepare reports and provide insights to improve operations.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve planning, scheduling, and inventory issues that may impact production or delivery. Implement corrective actions as needed.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance planning processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
• With 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience in material planning, production planning and scheduling, and inventory management.
• Having a background in purchasing and sales coordination is a great advantage
• Preferably with experience in the manufacturing or thermal industries.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in planning software and tools.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
