Job Summary:
As a Philippine Registered Nurse (PHRN) working from home, you will provide professional nursing care and support to patients through telehealth services, remote case management, or insurance-related assessments. Your role involves offering clinical advice, coordinating care plans, and ensuring that patients receive timely assistance while complying with all healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide telehealth services, responding to patient inquiries via phone, chat, or email.
Perform remote patient assessments, review medical records, and help create care plans in coordination with physicians and healthcare teams.
Educate patients on managing their health conditions, medication adherence, and preventative care.
Triage patient symptoms and provide appropriate advice or escalate to physicians or specialists when needed.
Work with insurance companies to conduct pre-authorization reviews, medical necessity reviews, and utilization management.
Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
Assist with remote case management by coordinating follow-up appointments, reviewing lab results, and monitoring patient progress.
Adhere to healthcare and nursing standards, regulatory compliance, and patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
Offer support and education to patients regarding health management and chronic disease prevention.
Communicate with healthcare providers and specialists to ensure continuity of care for patients.
Monitor and respond to patient inquiries related to health services, providing timely follow-up.
Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Nurse with active PHRN license.
Minimum of [X years] of clinical nursing experience (experience in telehealth or remote nursing is an advantage).
Strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care, and healthcare systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Filipino.
