Support US-based companies in preparing year-end documents About the RoleAs a Tax Preparer, you'll prepare US-based documents while ensuring client satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include processing documents, preparing accurate returns, and collaborating with others to deliver high quality results.
What You'll Do: Document Preparation: Process and upload documents, prepare returns Client Collaboration: Communicate with clients to request missing information or escalate completed documents to Manager for review.
Timely Responses: Respond to client messages within 24 hours to maintain strong relationships.
Earnings: Phase 1 - Certification: $5/hour - total earnings over this time period (4 weeks) of $920 USD Phase 2 and 3 - Earn and Learn and Production: $7/hour USD - work up to 40 hours/week - weekly earnings of $280 USD!Contract is ongoing - automatically renews if both client and freelancer agree What You Bring to the Table: Some familiarity with accounting and financial principles (What does GAAP stand for, how does an asset get calculated?)
Strong computer skills, tech-savviness, and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Technology & Equipment Requirements: Personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not supported) High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed for seamless connectivity (no satellite or mobile internet connections) Valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed Smart phone, Android tablet or iPad available to authenticate and login daily Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system must be used (some clients will accept an AppleOS)
