Ph Registered Nurse

Job Description:

- Perform pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing pacemaker implantation.
- Monitor patients with pacemakers, including checking vital signs, heart rhythms, and overall condition.
- Assess and manage symptoms of pacemaker malfunction or complications.
- Conduct routine pacemaker checks using remote or in-office programming devices.
- Assist with the programming of pacemakers under the guidance of a cardiologist or electrophysiologist.
- Analyze data from pacemakers to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with the medical team to troubleshoot pacemaker-related issues.
- Educate patients and families about pacemaker functionality, care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide detailed instructions on managing symptoms and when to seek medical attention.
- Offer guidance on maintaining regular follow-ups and remote monitoring compliance.
- Work closely with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and other members of the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
- Coordinate with device representatives for maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of pacemaker devices.
- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, interventions, and pacemaker checks.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, as well as local and federal regulations regarding medical devices.

Qualifications:

- PH RN- Active license
- Can be male or female
- Must have experience with Pacemakers and ILR ( Implantable loop recorder )
- Must have 1 year experience in Cardiology
- Open to all ages as long as qualified.
- Must have experience in taking and making calls.
- Must have experience in Medical charts ( not abstracting but uploading documents only )
