(both upload &download)Windows 10 or 11 with Google Chrome web browser installedWired headsetMalware and virus-free/protected computerSkype accountValid government-issued ID/driver's licenseJob Requirement:Must have billing backgroundCan read and understand the explanation of benefits and how to identifydenials (non covered, pharmacy benefit only, etc.. ) and patients financialresponsibilities (Co-Payments, Co-Insurances, Deductibles)Coordinates and takes care of the billing details of the patientsHandles Insurance incoming callsIssues invoices, handles payments, processes credit cardsAnswers to queries of the patientsUpdates financial recordsOffers financial assistance to patients, hardship, special discount,special priceProcesses cash orders payments by phonePosts patient payments as neededMust have excellent customer service skills dealing with patientcalling both inbound/outboundMust have collections experience dealing and explaining invoice detailsand handling disputes and payment processing over the phoneManaging inbound and outbound calls to and from patients, providers,and healthcare insurance companies regarding inquiries and dataverification (maintains great phone etiquette)Must have a courteous attitude, good communication skills, patience andcomputer knowledgeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft, Excel, and Outlook emailCommunicates effectively to hand-off or pick-up work fromcolleaguesPerforms other duties assigned by Team Lead or ManagerScope of Support:Receiving incoming and performing outbound callsPayment processing payment via SARs, PayPalBilling explanation with patients and collections of paymentsHandle crossover during first hour and last 30mins of the shiftCOVID-19 considerations:All Employees will be working from Home Permanently.
