Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Must have minimum 2-3 years of experience in handling End to End performance testing.
Must have experience in setting up performance test workloads/scenarios for different performance test types.
Must have hands-on experience in the development/creation of performance test scripts using JMeter at least for the following protocols (Web and API)
Must have experience with other performance testing tools e.g. HP LoadRunner, Rational Performance Tester (RPT) or Gatling
Must have experienced in results analysis and creation of customized performance testing reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Description:
Defines performance test approach for specific application;
Defines performance test entry and exit criteria;
Identifies and prioritizes performance test cases;
Develops and maintains test scripts;
Prepares test data sheets required for performance test execution;
Analyzes performance test results and provide recommendations on approach and performance test scripts.
Liaises with project team members to ensure overall project delivery success.
Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives;
Contributes to definition and improvement of Testing Policies and Strategies to be applied in all Testing delivery;
Applies innovative methods, processes and tools to enable cost-effective Defect Prevention activities;
Documents test results and collates test artifacts;
Reports test incidents and/or defects in accordance to agreed severity and priority;
Executes re-test of performance test to validate performance defect fixes;
Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
