Principal Purpose(s) of the position Prepare payroll of temporary workers, final pay for resigned employees, meals and other allowances, and government remittances for the branch. Primary duties and responsibilities 1. Assists in preparation of semi-monthly payroll, performance bonus, 13th month, sick leave conversion, annual increase, and other remuneration for the branch. 2. Assists in the preparation of employees alphalists and its reconciliation with the general ledger and with the remittance return of income tax withheld on compensation reported to BIR. 3. Assists in the preparation of the annual budget for the payroll and other personnel costs for GBPI and other entities. 4. Prepares monthly remittance on employees premium and loan payments (SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth). 5. In charge of the computation of final pay, ensuring employees accountability to the company is considered. 6. Processes the semimonthly meal allowance and expense reimbursement for field personnel. 7. Prepares journal voucher entries related to payroll, meal allowance, and related accrual and incorporates it in the general ledger. 8. Update and monitor accounting schedules related to payroll. 9. Ensures compliance with all applicable rules implementing the Labor Code, National Internal Revenue Code of the Philippines, and implementing circular of other regulatory or government offices. 10. Perform such other functions as may be assigned by higher authorities.
