About the role: With our global footprint and hyper-growth, one of Snappr's top priorities is to grow the quality of support we provide our rockstar employees in our Manila office. You will be challenged to be part of our People Operations team and to oversee the compensation and benefits side of our People & Culture team. Your impact on the team will be the lifeblood that powers Snappr's explosive growth and enables our employees to be well taken care of as they help our consumers and enterprise clients access on-demand photography worldwide. 
\n What you'll do: Compensation & Benefits Administration Own the entire payroll function and be accountable for its accuracy and timeliness by working with leaders to resolve timekeeping discrepancies, reviewing payroll and government remittances computed by our accountant, and tracking additional payments (e.g. reimbursements, deductions, performance pay, referral bonuses)Analyze, reconcile, and correct any discrepancies or errors related to payroll and benefitsFacilitate enrollment of employees into compensation and benefits platforms (e.g. timekeeping and LMS software, payroll bank provider, HMO); Ensure that attrited or unqualified employees are removed from these platforms on timeOrient and assist employees in the availment of benefits such as leaves, HMO, loans, maternity, sickness, and government subsidiesBe up to date with local compensation, statutory, and taxation laws Total Rewards Strategy Act as a thought partner in designing a Total Rewards Philosophy and Strategy that promotes equity attracts top talent and motivates a high-performing cultureDesign and execute benefit and rewards programs aligned with the company's philosophy and strategyConduct regular compensation benchmarking and maintain an internal job band structure based on benchmarked dataEvaluate and report on the effectiveness of employee benefit programs Vendor Management Act as the main point of contact for Snappr's third-party vendors (e.g. Accountant, HMO Provider, Payroll SAAS Provider) and keep vendors accountable for maintaining SLAs*Lead the selection and transition to a more effective payroll providerOur accountant handles payroll computation and disbursement, government contributions, and taxation. While the Benefits Specialist will not facilitate these processes, they are expected to ensure that these functions are performed with accuracy and in compliance with Philippine labor policies. What you'll needAt least 2 years of experience in administering payroll and benefits, preferably fully owning the Compensation & Benefits functionAt least 1 year of experience in collaborating with HR and management in designing and improving compensation and benefits programs and processesExperience in using Sprout as a payroll software is a plusExtensive knowledge of payroll procedures, HMO administration, government benefits, and current labor rules and regulationsCommunicates clearly and manages stakeholders effectively, especially when explaining payroll discrepancies, walking through compensation data, and proposing new compben programsGreat spreadsheet skills to analyze data, solve problems, and manage projectsStrong knowledge of market salary ranges and familiarity with Total Rewards are bonusA "let's get it done" mindsetShould be willing to report 100% onsite in Ortigas Job benefitsUp to Php 48k total earnings!
