POSITION SUMMARY: Five Star Bnb is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Specialist - Accounting Assistant to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating reservation financial data, producing reservation and income reports, categorizing transactions in Quickbooks, reviewing employee submissions, and preparing monthly invoices for each customer property. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for numbers, a meticulous approach to data entry, and excellent problem-solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Validating reservation financial data and producing a reservation and income report for each property Including "Owner Stay" bookings and determining if a cleaning fee should be charged, based on the particular events. Categorizing transactions in Quickbooks and ensuring that all relevant billable expenses and line items are captured.
Reviewing Amazon purchase history to ensure all transactions are categorized correctly while monitoring for any Business Order fields which were not filled out correctly by the employee. Reviewing and adjusting recurring customer charges in Quickbooks. Reviewing employee submissions in Ramp, making corrections, and following up with employees for missing or incorrect items. Entering items from the "billable supply backstock" sheets to ensure customers are correctly charged for items pulled from Five Star inventory. Reviewing and approving contractor tasks in our scheduling software. Monitoring for any potential issues and following up with the appropriate person to make adjustments. Adding or modifying task descriptions to be "customer facing" and which will appear on the customer invoice. Submitting contractor tasks for payroll. Preparing monthly invoices for each customer property including commission charges, cleaning fees, recurring charges, and billable expenses. Apply received Airbnb deposits and other accounts receivables. Prepare monthly amount statement reports. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail Excellent problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to task completion Proficiency in data entry and a thorough understanding of financial concepts Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members effectively Proficiency in Quickbooks and other relevant accounting software COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Salary: Hourly, $6 - $9 Bonus: Metric-based performance bonuses are made available after 90 days. Schedule: Monday through Friday US daytime hours.
