What you'll be doing We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Officer to join our collaborative Finance team on a permanent full-time capacity. This role will be based at our local vendor's office located in Makati City.
Reporting to our Payroll Manager, the daily activities will include ensuring pay runs are accurately completed and delivered to meet deadlines, dealing with a high volume of data entry and appropriate deduction calculations, as well as maintaining employee Time and Attendance rosters and schedules. Additionally, this position also involves filing employee documents, generating reports, managing Superannuation funds, and other tasks related to our Finance team.
Key Responsibilities: Accurate Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, including salary calculations, deductions, and adjustments.Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies e.g., PAYG, superannuation, Payroll Tax, etc.Employee Support: Handle payroll queries and provide exceptional support to staff, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.Collaboration: Work closely with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.Documentation, Reporting, and Audits: Maintain employee records in collaboration with People & Culture and Finance. Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
