Job description
The Payroll and Benefits Assistant is responsible for preparing, processing, and analyzing payroll and benefits/statutory reports.
Qualifications and Skills
-Must have a B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related fields
-Must have at least 1 year experience in Payroll or other related fields
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepares, processes, analyses, and submits of timely payroll and benefits /statutory reports and other documents for clients.
- Ensures that approved payrolls are implemented through the clients' depository banks and credited to employees' accounts.
- Prepares of final pay computations of clients.
- Computes and prepares earnings and deductions register including withholding tax, statutory and company-mandated deductions, and the Alphalist of clients.
- Maintains and updates the payroll system.
-Knowledgeable in the current payroll and benefits/statutory regulations
- Receives and attends to queries and requests from clients.
- Ensures and enforces the strict confidentiality of clients' payroll information.
