Job Description
The Payment Processing Clerk - Inbound Settlement is responsible for payments settlement and reconciliation functions ensuring daily reconciliation of funds processed.
You will utilize a variety of reporting, analytical, and task management tools to accomplish your tasks.
In this role, you will interact with multiple departments within the company, including the support and development teams.
You will work with various payment providers, financial institutions,
and departments to resolve settlement and processing issues.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct daily audit procedures to reconcile credit card transactions and ACH
transactions.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in payments.
- Communicate with payment providers, financial institutions, and vendors regarding
payment processing issues and unreconciled items.
- Coordinate with Support team in researching and responding to customer
inquiries and reports of payment issues.
Qualifications And Requirements
**Skills & Abilities**:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is required.
Intermediate level Excel skills are
highly desired
- Ability to be flexible and to function efficiently when urgent situations arise.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong investigative skills and exceptional analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally and provide excellent customer service to our
customers.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to efficiently multi-task and prioritize.
**Education & Experience**:
- Degree in Accounting or related degree, or relevant experience.
- English fluency required.
