Payment & Collection Specialist / Associate

**Responsibilities**:

- To take responsibility for ensuring that customers Invoices are correctly monitored, with accurate records and prepare reporting on collection activity.
- Interact with personnel/ entities to resolve any issues regarding overdue payments, discrepancies, payment delays and other items.
- Investigating credit balances on the sales ledger and resolve any disputed and held items.
- Regular review of customer ageing and development of action plans to resolve aged items.
- Reconcile customer accounts in accounts receivable sub-ledger records.
- Ensuring all collection are posted and properly allocated to customer accounts.
- Other ad hoc duties as required

**Education, Experience, Qualification / Skills**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Previous experience of working within an Accounts receivable department for multi-entities.
- Good understanding of VAT taxation rules and regulations.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, a good team spirit and are rigorous.
- Good analytical ability.
- Highly motivated, confident and organized individual.
- Ability to operate independently.
- Works well under pressure when working to tight deadlines.
