Panel Driver (Truck Driver)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Panel Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and/or equipment to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a panel van and other company vehicles.
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Follow delivery schedules and routes, adjusting as necessary for traffic and weather conditions.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any issues to management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients.
Assist in inventory management and warehouse duties as needed.
Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery processes.
Qualifications:

Valid driver's license code 1,2,3 and 8 with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a panel van or similar vehicle.
Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
