Production Management:
Oversee daily operations of the spunpole manufacturing process, including scheduling, staffing, and quality control.
Ensure the production process runs smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with the company's standards.
Monitor production timelines and adjust schedules to meet customer demands and business objectives.
Quality Control:
Ensure the spunpoles are manufactured to high standards of quality and comply with safety regulations.
Implement regular quality checks throughout the production process and address any discrepancies.
Work with quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve any product defects or production issues.
Resource and Inventory Management:
Manage raw material procurement and inventory to ensure the necessary materials are available for production.
Optimize the use of resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials, to reduce waste and improve cost efficiency.
Forecast future inventory needs and coordinate with suppliers to maintain an adequate stock.
Staff Leadership and Development:
Lead, motivate, and manage production teams to achieve operational goals.
Train and mentor staff to improve their performance, ensuring they adhere to safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Maintain a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
Process Optimization:
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Conduct regular reviews of machinery and equipment performance and arrange for maintenance or upgrades when necessary.
Analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of production workflows and implement adjustments as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that the production environment complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety training for staff and maintain a safety-first culture within the facility.
Implement and monitor compliance with industry standards for environmental impact, safety, and worker welfare.
Budget and Cost Control:
Manage the operations budget, tracking costs and looking for areas to reduce expenses while maintaining quality and output.
Analyze financial reports to measure the performance of the manufacturing unit and take corrective actions when necessary.
Ensure efficient use of resources, minimizing downtime and waste.
Reporting and Communication:
Prepare regular reports on production performance, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and other operational metrics.
Communicate effectively with senior management, other department heads, and external stakeholders to report progress, issues, and solutions.
Facilitate regular meetings to ensure alignment between teams and departments on production goals.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Operations Management, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within a manufacturing or operations environment, preferably within the spunpole or construction materials industry.
Proven track record of managing production teams and improving manufacturing processes.
