Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our daily operations, manage our sourcing and logistics processes, and lead cross-functional teams towards achieving our business objectives. This individual will play a key role in ensuring efficiency across our workflow, maintaining high standards in client relations, and optimizing processes for increased productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Daily Operations Management:
Oversee and monitor all daily operational activities, ensuring smooth task management across teams, adherence to timelines, and operational efficiency.
Manage and coordinate import, logistics, and shipping processes to meet delivery schedules and company requirements.
2. Client and Supplier Communication:
Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status and problem resolution.
Collaborate directly with suppliers and manufacturers in China and other regions to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.
3. Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities to improve current workflows, implementing optimizations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Leverage tools such as Monday.com and QuickBooks to streamline order management, track project progress, and optimize financial transactions.
4. Team Management and Training:
Directly manage relevant teams, including training and skill development, focusing on achieving operational standards and efficiency.
Provide support to sales, purchasing, and customer service teams to foster effective cross-departmental collaboration.
5. Performance Monitoring (KPIs):
Analyze performance data, prepare monthly reports to highlight issues, and propose actionable solutions for continuous improvement.
Utilize Monday.com and QuickBooks for real-time tracking of operational KPIs and financial data, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
6. Project Management:
Lead special projects aimed at process improvement or expansion into new areas as required by company goals.
Manage complex projects that involve coordination with multiple departments and teams.
7. Risk Management and Problem Resolution:
Identify and mitigate operational risks, responding promptly to emergency situations or operational challenges.
Coordinate with teams and stakeholders in cases of delays or complex project issues.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in operations and logistics management, ideally within a global environment.
Strong communication skills and experience working with international suppliers, clients, and teams.
Analytical skills with experience using ERP systems (such as Priority), CRM platforms, and financial software like QuickBooks.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to resolve problems effectively.
