Qualifications

A graduate of a Bachelor's degree in any related courses
Proven experience in operations management within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
This could include roles such as production manager, supply chain manager, or plant manager.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Experience in setting and achieving operational targets, managing budgets, and improving overall efficiency.
In-depth knowledge of automotive processes, quality control, and industry-specific regulations and standards.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to convey complex ideas and information clearly to different stakeholders is crucial.
Demonstrated ability to identify and solve operational challenges.
This includes a proactive approach to addressing issues and implementing effective solutions.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Proficient in project management methodologies to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects related to operations.
Ability to adapt to changes in the industry, market conditions, and technology advancements is crucial for an operations manager in the fast-paced automotive sector.
Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency
Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant
Formulate strategic and operational objectives
Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
Manage budgets and forecasts Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs, train and supervise staff
Find ways to increase quality of customer service
