Operations Executive (w/ Freight Forwarding Experience)Manage and oversee the execution of all freight operations-related Export jobs (Both Sea, Air shipments).
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating with Sales team closely regarding the rates quotes, feedback received, and giving timely updates on the shipment status and discussing any issues/resolutions.Coordinating with Pricing team regarding booking availability, rates issues, and space issues.Handling files in ERP system, opening job cards, closing files with correct buy & sell in place, and uploading all documents.Coordinating with customers regarding shipments, managing bookings, updating day-to-day status of shipments, maintaining good customer relations, and ensuring quality and timely billing.Coordinating with shippers regarding cargo collection timings and document availability.Communicating with carriers for export inquiries and arranging bookings with carriers.Managing booking, loading, SI submission, and handling documentation on time to avoid additional charges.Communicating with local transporters for the timely collection of cargo.Requirements Degree in Business Management or Logistics & Supply Chain Management.Experience of more than 1+ year in logistics or freight forwarding company.Must have experience handling export shipments in the same region or knowledge of the export process.Familiarity with computers; Microsoft Office, Windows, and Excel.Ability to communicate in English (verbally & written).
