Scope of Work: The Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the organization's operations. Job Responsibilities Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze data related to the organization's operations to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and optimize operational processes. Identify areas where cost reductions, time savings, or resource efficiencies can be achieved. Reporting: Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to provide key performance indicators (KPIs) and actionable insights to management and relevant stakeholders. Forecasting and Planning: Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure resource allocation aligns with the organization's operational needs and goals. Quality Control: Monitor and assess the quality of operations by setting and tracking quality standards. Identify and address any discrepancies or issues. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in operational processes and propose solutions to mitigate them. Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring they meet performance expectations and cost-effectiveness. Compliance: Ensure all operational activities are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of operational processes, including procedures, guidelines, and best practices. Technology Integration: Collaborate with the IT department to implement and optimize software and systems that enhance operational efficiency. Training and Development: Assist in training staff on new operational processes, tools, and best practices to ensure consistent implementation. Project Management: Manage and lead projects aimed at improving operations, from inception to completion, within specified timelines and budgets. Customer Support: Provide support to internal and external customers by resolving operational issues and inquiries in a timely and effective manner. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus. Proven experience in operations analysis or a related role, preferably in a corporate environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards. Project management skills and experience with project management software. Ability to work collaboratively and foster teamwork across departments. Preferred Skills: Advanced data analysis and statistical modeling skills. Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean. Familiarity with ERP systems and other operational software. Knowledge of industry-specific best practices. Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Working Conditions: This is an office-based role with standard working hours, but flexibility may be required to meet project deadlines or address operational issues.
