Championing a collaborative, supportive and flexible work environment empowers our colleagues to reach their full potential. Job DescriptionThe Operation Center Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Operation Center team, ensuring the smooth running of IT systems and batch processing jobs.This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team of operators.Key Tasks:Team Leadership:Onboard and train new team membersAssign tasks and manage team workloadProvide guidance and support to team membersConduct performance reviews and provide feedbackFoster a positive and collaborative team cultureSystem Monitoring and Batch Processing:Oversee system monitoring activities, ensuring timely response to alerts and incidentsMonitor the execution of batch jobs, identifying and resolving issuesImplement new monitoring and automation toolsIncident Management:Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and implement improvementsDevelop and maintain incident management proceduresCommunicate incident status to stakeholdersShift Management:Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverageCoordinate handoffs between shifts to minimize disruptionsProcess Improvement:Continuously identify opportunities to improve Operation Center processes and proceduresImplement automation and streamlining techniques to increase efficiencyDevelop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures QualificationsStrong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, system monitoring, and batch processingProven leadership and team management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExperience with ITIL frameworks and incident management processesIt would be a real bonus if you have Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. PagerDuty, NetCool, Grafana)Knowledge of batch processing concepts and tools (e.g. Zena)Experience in SIEM and EDR solutions (Splunk, Sentinel, Wazuh, Defender)Experience with ITIL frameworksKnowledge of cloud technologies Additional InformationWe realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices. In Avaloq we are proud to embrace diversity and understand the success of our business is built on the power of different opinions, we are whole heartedly committed to fostering an equal opportunity environment and inclusive culture where you can be your true authentic self. We hire, compensate and promote regardless of origin, age, gender identity, sexual orientation or any other fantastic traits that make us all unique, we have done our best to write this advert in an inclusive and neutral way. Please be aware that we will not accept speculative CV submissions for any of our roles from recruitment agencies, and any unsolicited candidate submissions will be exempt from any payment expectations.  #LI-Hybrid
