Position : OFFSHORE OUTSOURCE TEAM LEAD The Offshore Outsourcing Team Leader is responsible for managing and coordinating 3D production tasks with offshore teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality assets. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and an in-depth understanding of 3D production processes. The Offshore Outsourcing Team Leader acts as the primary liaison between the in-house team and client partners, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Plan and manage the outsourcing pipeline for 3D projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Break down project tasks and distribute them effectively among external teams. Monitor the progress of outsourced projects and address any bottlenecks. Clients' Coordination: Identify and establish relationships with outsourcing vendors and freelancers specializing in 3D design and production. Act as the main point of contact for external teams, ensuring smooth communication. Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, ensuring competitive rates and quality deliverables. Quality Control: Review outsourced work to ensure it meets creative and technical specifications. Provide constructive feedback to external teams to refine and improve their output. Maintain consistent quality standards across all outsourced projects. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Production Managers to understand project requirements and client's needs. Communicate effectively between internal and external teams to maintain alignment on project goals. Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks in the outsourcing process and develop strategies to mitigate them. Resolve issues or conflicts that arise between internal and external teams promptly. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in any field. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a 3D production environment, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or coordination role. Proven experience managing external vendors or freelance teams. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and rendering processes. Familiarity with basic industry-standard tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter). Soft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Leadership and team management capabilities.
