The Cash & Trade Processing Intermediate Analyst is responsible for ensuring payment transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Payment Services team. The overall role of the officer will primarily support the order placement for Time Deposit product and monitoring termination and maturity process as part of the life cycle of Time Deposit.
In this role, you are expected to:
Perform order taking of Time Deposit of Citi corporate clients.
Monitors maturing Time Deposit of clients
Engage with client on the TD request - Onboarding of client, maintenance request and TD placement.
Address client request on preferred rates where officer will need to coordinate with Product and Sales partners.
On top of the engagement, officer will be responsible in performing administrative support such as reporting, handling inquiries, building MIS data and reconciliation.
Participate/Lead audit walkthroughs for TD product.
Resolve payment services issues and use technical expertise/ judgment to conduct complex analysis
Anticipate and respond to requests for transaction deliverables from internal and external clients.
Develop and recommend strategic decisions based off in-depth comprehension of how the Cash operations team interacts with others business unites in accomplishing objectives.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:
2-5 years of experience in a related role within cash operations management and Time Deposit related products.
Effective verbal and written skills
Effective communication and analytical skills
Effective relationship management skills
Expert level proficiency in Windows, MS Project, and MS Office Suite
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
