Occupational Health Nurse

**OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE**

**SUMMARY**: The company nurse will be responsible for developing and implementing for developing and implementing Health and Safety Programs, assessing health risks, in addition to the prevention and treatment of resultant illness or injury.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Promote good health among employees by assessing them at regular intervals;
- Keeping health records for every employee;
- Maintaining good communication with company management regarding healthcare and safety;
- Assess the work environment to identify any work hazards and plan intervention programs accordingly;
- Improve the health of employees through on-going programs and health checks;
- Provide emergency treatment in the workplace;
- Attend seminar workshops on any related health issues;
- Document all employee injuries injury ang illness and keep this information confidential;
- Implement health programs for employees;
- Performs health counseling;
- Monitoring sick leave of employees;
- Assess pre-employment medical examination results and coordinate status/evaluation with Recruitment; and
- Coordinates any work-related injuries/illness to Safety Officer for an immediate investigation and corrective actions;
**JOB QUALIFICATION**:

- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a Registered Nurse;
- With good interpersonal and people management skills;
- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgements on sensitive and confidential issues;
- Can work under mínimal supervision;
- A warm and caring disposition;
- Experience on the same field is an advantage; and
- Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
