Occupational Health Nurse

The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for day-to-day running of health and safety related matters within the company.
He/She will be responsible for providing first aid when needed along with assessing the employee's health risks and at the same time promote employee health.
1.
Ensure compliance with DOLE and other related laws, company standard operating procedures, compliance with GMP, Food Safety policy and other accredited environmental, health and safety management systems
2.
Devise and implement Occupational Health policies and procedures
3.
Timely reporting of work related accidents
4.
Support occupational health requirements
5.
Monitor and assist pre-employment and other medical examinations
6.
Conduct sickness absence referrals
7.
Manage work-related injuries/illnesses
8.
Devise rehabilitation/back to work programs for employees
9.
Conduct risk/workplace assessments
10.
Carry out health surveillance programs
11.
Conduct training for first aid and emergency response team members
12.
Maintain employee records ensuring confidentiality in accordance with current laws and company procedures
13.
Devise and co-ordinate health and safety awareness activities
14.
Participate in emergency response planning committees as required
15.
Liaise with the company-assigned Physician as required
16.
Ensure medical equipment is maintained and in good working condition
17.
Commitment and compliance in the food safety and quality policy of Foodcrafters Inc.
18.
Any other duties considered necessary to meet the needs of the business
