The Company Nurse will deliver health and safety programs and services to the Organization's employees. This role will work with the Corporate Administration team and Management to recommend programs and solutions to improve workplace safety.
I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as Occupational Health Nurse and Safety Officer 2Provide nursing care to injured or ill workers, treatment and referral of all injuries and occupational and non-occupational diseasesPerform work activities which are within the scope allowed by the nursing profession by participating in medical examinations, and if more extensive examinations are needed, refer the same to a physician or accompany to nearest hospital, as necessary.Validate medical certificate for fit to work clearanceOrganize, participate, and administer a health service program integrating occupational safety and health through consolidation, analysis of available clinic data and providing recommendations for improvement of working environment affecting the health and well-being of the employees.Maintain a reporting and records system and prepare and submit DOLE reports to the employer, as requiredEnsure that medicines and supplies are adequate and compliant based on DOLE OSH Standards through maintenance of accurate inventory and preparation of requisition as necessaryMaintain accurate and complete medical records of each worker ensuring utmost confidentiality of all results and information obtained.Prepare reports for occupational related illnesses and injuriesConduct regular inspections of sanitation conditions, premises, including all facilities therein, and evaluate the working environment to detect and appraise occupational health hazards and environmental conditions affecting comfort and job efficiencyProvide health education and counseling in cooperation with the supervisors in imparting appropriate health and safety information to employeesServe part of the OSH Committee and Emergency Response TeamConduct home visits to sick employees as neededCreate monthly health bulletinsProvide support to company engagement activitiesConduct administrative activities related to occupational health and safety as assigned by the SuperiorII. QUALIFICATIONS A. Minimum Education B.S., Registered NurseWith 40-hrs BOSH Training for Nurses and First-aid and Basic Life Support TrainingB. Minimum Experience/Training At least 2 years of work experience in the related fieldHas experience on establishing EHS related policies and proceduresWORKING SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday, 8:30AM- 6:00PM
