POSITION SUMMARY:
The Non-Tobacco Materials Receiving In-Charge receives, inspects and records shipments with raw material or products. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders.
The goal is to ensure we receive the correct packages and stock them appropriately
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveriesReceive shipments and sign paperwork upon receiptUnload packages from incoming trucksInspect contents to ensure they are undamagedVerify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identifiedAssume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacementsLabel deliveries and allocate them to their designated placeEnsure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveriesMaintain accurate records and assist in inventory controlImplement FIFOResponsible in the issuance of materials to production and ensure all materials issued and requested is correct.Ensure that all materials undergone QA sampling and testing with corresponding reports before accepting. QUALIFICATIONS: MaleCollege GraduateProven experience as receiving clerk or similar position is an advantageExperience in operating forkliftsWorking knowledge of computer programs for entering dataSolid understanding of health and safety regulations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Basic math and recording abilitiesExcellent organizational skillsGreat communication and interpersonal abilitiesKeen eye for detail WORKING CONDITIONS:
