Job description Our client is a semiconductor company in Malacca.
They are currently seeking a NPI Quality Manager due to rapid expansion.
Key Responsibilities:New Product Introduction (NPI) Quality Management: Lead and manage the quality aspects of the NPI process from concept to production, ensuring alignment with company quality standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and production, to establish quality requirements and specifications for new products.Quality Control Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures to address potential quality issues during the NPI phase.Supplier Quality Management: Work closely with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials and components.Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality requirements.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the NPI phase, implementing best practices to enhance overall product quality and reliability.Utilize statistical methods and data analysis to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to NPI quality processes, including standard operating procedures and quality manuals.Prepare and present regular reports on NPI quality metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and corrective actions.Skills & Experience Required:10 years experience (preferable) in Semiconductor field (LED would be highly sought after).In-depth knowledge and understanding of LED processes would be highly advantageous.Strong knowledge and practice in PPAP, Change Management, 8D reporting, SPC, MSA, CP & FMEA would be sought after.In-depth knowledge of Reliability Test in defining qualification plan for new products.Knowledge and understanding in Automotive standard requirements (IATF 16949).Persistence and the ability to positively influence others.Ability to multi-task and work efficiently with cross functional teams.
