Get to Know the Team
You will collaborate with our driver-facing teams, including Driver Operations and Marketing, along with other partners. We are dedicated to improving the Transport business through data-driven insights, strategic project management, and stakeholder communication.
Get to Know the Role
You will have overall responsibility for overseeing Mindanao Transport DAX subsidies, P&L, and conducting detailed reporting and analysis related to GMV (Gross Merchandise Value), RPR (Revenue Per Ride), and CPR (Cost Per Ride). Your role is crucial in identifying key business issues and opportunities, leading multiple projects, and managing stakeholders to drive business growth and process improvements.
You will report directly to the Head of Mindanao, and the current work arrangement is onsite, with the office located in Cagayan de Oro.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will lead projects to explore business issues and opportunities, focusing on targeted areas for growth.
You will conduct data analysis to identify key issues and opportunities for the Transport business, providing data-driven insights and impact assessments for proposed initiatives.
You will manage stakeholders across departments, providing direction and balancing trade-offs in the overall marketplace.
You will oversee supply experiments with the marketplace team to shape customer behavior for optimal marketplace balance.
You will engage with customers (rider partners and operators) on the ground to understand their experience with Grab's services and address pain points.
You will collaborate with product teams to launch and localize new product features.
You will perform data analysis and financial modeling on the performance of various business initiatives and proposals.
You will track performance, identify key issues, and develop strategies to address them.
Qualifications
What Skills You Will Need
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business, Data Science, or related fields.
Entreprenuerial Skills: 8+ years of experience in a dynamic enviroment; familiarity with financial forecasting, budgeting, and pricing cause-and-effect simulation.
Data Analysis Skills: Strong capability in data analysis (both qualitative and quantitative) and financial modeling.
Good understanding of business operations and a curiosity about data.
Project Management: Experience in leading projects and working in a strategic, business operations, or business development role.
Ability to identify root causes of problems and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop creative solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Competent in managing and communicating with stakeholders across various departments.
Startup Experience: Experience working in or building a startup business will be an advantage.
MBA Degree will be an advantage
