Job Overview NFR Specialist II is part of a support team ("NFR Services") in ING Hubs Manila to help the second line of defense Non-Financial Risk ("NFR") function to manage the risks associated with people, process, systems etc.The role is focused on delivering services to ING locations that involves data checks, trend analysis, user training and gatekeeping.The role is critical to the team in supporting the Leads to manage the day-to-day operations and optimizing resources to expand the scope of work and add more value to stakeholders. NFR Services team is administered locally in ING Hubs Manila under Risk and Data Organization and functionally steered by Global NFR in The Netherlands. NFR Specialist II will be helping in regularly producing reports related to events that transpired in the Bank globally that are used for regulatory submission or internal analytical purposes. This person is also going to maintain or change the SAS programs and other tools used in the regular reporting processes. Interaction with ING locations and Global NFR teams is also expected and also facilitating of data presentations in order to clarify information before finalizing reports.
Key Responsibilities NFR Specialist II will be expected to perform the following activities: NFR Reporting – system generation, analysis and reporting of NFR events and related information necessary for Global NFR Heads and regulators' decision making and compliance deliverables Data analysis – providing insights on data needed for report recipients to interpret and make informed decisions out of them Maintenance of programs – maintain, adjust, change or create SAS programs relative to the regulatory reporting requirements Perform controls necessary to validate information for accurate reporting Data checks and uploads – data checking of information passed by Capital Reporting team and upload information in the internal and external systems Update documentation – update workplace instructions or technical documentation whenever changes are deployed Manage changes – aside from regulatory requirements, align with system changes in order to reflect the changes into the SAS programs NFR Specialist II will also need to perform the following to support the delivery and management of services:
Facilitating stakeholder meeting prior to releasing reports Improving or optimizing processes, documentation and ways of working Creation of root cause analysis of service delivery issues Any other responsibilities essential to the functioning of the team, department or company as a whole as discussed and agreed with the Leads Key Capabilities/Experience Knows how to design and develop batch software in SAS EG Willing to upskill SAS experience and knowledge e.g. SAS Viya Have experience in maintaining and enhancing the source code and process flow in SAS Have experience in translating technical requirements into program application modules and develop/enhance those Have knowledge and projects completed using other tools like PowerBI or Alteryx Have experience in reporting using SAS and other tools Minimum Qualifications At least 4 years of data analytics – related experience With SAS EG training – intermediate to advanced With completed projects on SAS program creation and enhancement Willing to maintain and enhance custom scripted SAS programs Performed regulatory reporting in financial institutions is an advantage Likes to work in a dynamic environment and knowledge of agile way of working (Scrum) is an advantage Able to lead initiatives or a small working group within the team Amenable to work on mid-shift (1PM to 10PM) Amenable to work in a hybrid set-up (50% work in office and 50% work from home)#J-18808-Ljbffr
