Job Opportunity: Finance Director The City of Niceville, FL is actively seeking a skilled and dynamic financial professional to serve as its next Finance Director. Under the direction of the City Manager, this position is responsible for:

Planning, organizing, managing, and providing administrative direction and oversight for all functions and activities of the Finance Department, including: Fiscal management Accounting Billing Risk management Directing and administering the fiscal operations and activities of the City, which include: Investments Financial transaction processing Recordkeeping and reporting Vendor payments Payroll Coordinating the production and administration of the City's budget. Coordinating assigned activities with other City departments, officials, outside agencies, and the public. Fostering cooperative working relationships among City departments and with intergovernmental and regulatory agencies and various public and private groups. Providing highly responsible and complex professional assistance to the City Manager in areas of expertise.
